USCG Helicopter/Boat Training - Casco Bay

USCG Helicopter/Boat Training - Casco Bay
USCG helicopter training with Station South Portland that was originally scheduled for December 21st has been tentatively re-scheduled for Monday December 27th at 2:15 p.m., again weather dependent. Tuesday the 28th may serve as an alternate day. An HH-65 Dolphin Helicopter from Air Station Atlantic City will conduct rescue hoist training with a 47' motor life boat from Station South Portland, as depicted in the attached photo. This is a routine training opportunity for our crews to hone skills as we move into the winter search and rescue season. Media interested in capturing imagery of the training should plan to be at the Portland Fire Boat moorings (adjacent to Casco Bay Lines) by 2:15 p.m. on the 27th. Fire Boat will serve as the platform from which to view USCG training evolution. A CG rep will confirm whether or not it is a go by approximately 10:00 a.m. Monday.

Ram Island Home & Ground Launch New Home Services

Ram Island Home & Ground Launch New Home Services

(cape elizabeth, me.) – Ram Island Home & Grounds,
formally Ram Island Landscape and Design, has established a new division of
home services called “Ask Todd.”
The new division was created as a part of a corporate strategy to flatten out the
peaks and valleys of sales that are inherent in a seasonal business such as
landscaping. It also maximizes the company’s abilities to cross-sell its services, a
critical element to leverage in a weakened economy.
In addition to its regular lawn and landscape business, the company will now
offer a full complement of services such as dump runs, trash pick-ups, opening &
closing of seasonal properties, deer fence installation and light carpentry, just to
name a few.
“Ask Todd” will be managed by Todd Robbins, for whom the division was
named. Todd has been with the company since 2004.
Ram Island Home & Grounds is based in Cape Elizabeth, ME and provides
services in coastal Southern Maine.
