A Four-Bagger for Chris Long at Scarborough Downs

By Mike Sweeney for Scarborough Downs

Scarborough, Maine (Sunday, April 08, 2012) Chris Long held the hot hand at Scarborough Downs on Sunday (April 8), reining 4 winners down victory lane. Included in his grand-slam performance were Electricity and Oye Oye, both owned by the Boldbro Stables of Lebanon, ME and both trained by Jamie Girard.  Long’s third win came with a rare catch driving opportunity aboard a Doug Gray trainee, Red Slippers, before completing his day with a win with Townline Zebus in the finale, overcoming both a Judge’s inquiry and the dreaded 8-hole to secure the 4 bagger.

Scarborough Downs proudly features live harness racing every Saturday at 4 pm and Sunday at 1:05 pm.
