Better Than an Advent Calendar: Elf on the Shelf

Better Than an Advent Calendar: Elf on the Shelf

We were visited by a pixie elf the day after Thanksgiving this year. It’s the third year in a row he’s showed up. His name is Elfie.

My oldest son, G, named the elf. He was sent to us by Santa Claus himself. He comes every year the day after Thanksgiving. He’s even made appearances in New York City and Massachusetts when we were traveling for the holidays.

If you haven’t figured it out. I’m talking about Elf on the Shelf.

The rules are simple.
