Over 250 guests are expected at the event honoring Ortiz, including top Maine CEO’s, philanthropists and college and university leaders as well elected officials.  The event is being held with the support of over 40 major Maine companies, including several companies that are led by successful SMCC alumni such as Norway Savings Bank CEO & President, Robert Harmon, Great Falls Construction President, Jon Smith, and D&G Machine owner, Duane Gushee. All of the proceeds for the event will benefit the Southern Maine Community College Foundation, whose mission is to provide critical financial support for the students and programs at SMCC.
