Live fire ban lifted at Spurwink gun club

CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A local gun club that has faced months of legal hurdles will be allowed to have live gunfire once again.
According to the Spurwink Rod and Gun Club, the Town of Cape Elizabeth has approved allowing gunfire in it's 25-yard range. In addition to meeting the safety improvements required by the Town, the Cape Elizabeth Police Chief has lifted the live fire ban.
The gun club has not been able to have live fire since July 24th.
