American Red Cross Asks Blood Donors To Give Patients A Happy Ending

The American Red Cross and Cinemagic Stadium Theaters invite eligible blood donors in the Westbrook area to help avoid blood shortages this summer.
Cinemagic Stadium Theaters, located on County Road, will host the sixth annual, 27 hour Cinemagic Marathon Blood Drive beginning at 12 noon on Friday, August 6 and ending at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 6.
Because schools are closed, businesses are frequently short staffed and residents are often away on vacation, summer poses unique challenges to the community’s blood supply. The Cinemagic blood drive offers movie lovers a unique way to enjoy this summer’s blockbusters and help save lives in the process.
All presenting donors will receive this year’s coveted Cinemagic Marathon blood drive  T-shirt and a free Cinemagic movie pass. Donors can also enter a raffle to win free Red Sox tickets and be honored at Fenway Park as Blood Donor of the Game.
