Eating Healthy Day encourages employees to make small changes each day to incorporate healthier food choices. Through this day, the AHA’s Start! initiative will increase awareness of the importance of good nutrition; and will provide education, tools and resources to companies nationwide.

Locally, Hannaford and the AHA will be delivering baskets of heart-healthy food from local Maine suppliers - along with a special Holiday Healthy Eating Guide - to several area employers.
