Let's play more

Let's play more

Maybe it's the winter, maybe it's the recession, maybe it's recent events but I have noticed that people are taking things very seriously these days.  Since I started teaching acting I have developed a passion for working with adults.  People who have gotten bogged down in the day to day.  People who have lost their spark and creativity and who's priorities have shifted away from themselves.  I've become addicted to watching them let themselves play again.  The moment an adult lets go of right and embraces fun is truly a gift.  Usually my class sessions are eight weeks but with the winter and snow and short days I thought it would be nice to do a day workshop; a pick me up of sorts.  I am offering "Acting for Improv/Stand Up--bringing alive the characters that live inside us"  The goal of the workshop is to give a voice and body to the fun parts of us, the voices and people that come out when we let go and play!
