Making Old Cookie Content New Again

Making Old Cookie Content New Again

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the ABSTRACT: The Future of Design in Media Conference, right here in Portland, Maine. I have pages and pages of notes to go through but there was one point that reminded me of something Jenika and I talk to clients about all the time – making old content new again.

Three Ace Night

The three best pitchers in the American League this year all took the mound on Tuesday night. If that’s not enough of a coincidence, all three faced division rivals in games featuring two teams occupying two of the top three spots in their division, all within 4 1/2 games of the division lead. If you’re still not impressed by the coincidence, all the pitchers threw complete game shutouts, the first time this season that three pitchers have thrown shutouts on the same day. And they all won, 4-0.

Paul Konerko and the Hall of Fame

Paul Konerko and the Hall of Fame. That’s a title I didn’t expect to write in 2011, if ever. Ozzie Guillen thinks Konerko will make the Hall and that “there’s no doubt he did it the right way.” My first thought upon reading this was probably the same as yours. Interview With a Run Producer

From an interview with Adrian Gonzalez, via the Associated Press recap of Friday night’s Red Sox win over Toronto:

“It’s just guys in front of me are getting on base and giving me opportunities every time,” Gonzalez said. “RBIs are not a personal thing.”

This guy might be my new favorite player, not just because he’s driven in 14 runs during the Red Sox’s nine-game winning streak, but because he realizes that the team’s 83 runs scored in that stretch are the more impressive and meaningful number.

Blog Comments for Marketing and Getting More Blog Comments

This week I did a webinar all about Blog Comments. To take my own advice, I wanted to write a blog post about some of the main topics we talked about in our webinar.

We know that blogging is good for SEO, targetting long-tail search terms and having a blog helps establish you as an expert in your field.
