Angels - not nearly as angelic as you might think

Angels - not nearly as angelic as you might think

I recently read YET ANOTHER book set largely in Manhattan (BTW, an encouraging shout-out to everyone dealing with the aftermath of Sandy!).

Forget about vampires or zombies,  meet some sexy, scary angels in Danielle Trussoni's Angelology.

Trussoni's angels aren't "angelic" - at all.  And their off-spring, the "Nephilim," are narcissistic supernatural beings, looking to dominate the world.  Thrilling, subtly erotic, mysterious, with the suggestion that these superhuman beings walk, cloaked, among us.  It's fun in a frightening kind of way.

A spooky, sort of Halloween way, even.

Writing happens mostly when I'm not writing

Writing happens mostly when I'm not writing

Some say "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."  Agatha Christie said that "the best time to plan a book is while you're doing the dishes."

I do most of the idea planning of my writing when I'm nowhere near a computer.  More likely I'm folding laundry.

Even though I've been a bit quiet on the blogosphere lately, there's a lot in the hopper, cooking away.
